HTML Research

html stands for hyper text markup language and is used in a way of describing a text infomation document and converting it into a way of displaying the codes as a website by defineing links, headings, paragraphs, images and lists.

The way in which html was developed took over nine years and two physicists. I say this because Tim Burners Lee who was a contractor for a major computer company proposed a prototype of a system where users could upload and share files. Then nine years later Robert Cailliau and Burners Lee both submitted a proposal for an internet hypertext system which had a similar function. Therefor the following year they joined forces and created the world wide web project which was then acepted by CERN.
